A Conversation with CIFF

Melissa Bumstead and Nicholas Mihm speak with the Cleveland International Film Festival

Cleveland, OH - April 08, 2021

In the Dark of the Valley is now playing at the Cleveland International Film Festival. The virtual event will take place between April 7-20 and films will be available to the public for the entire duration of the festival. Tickets can be purchased at Clevelandfilm.org and films can be viewed on CIFF’s Streams channel on Roku or Apple TV.

Melissa Bumstead and director Nicholas Mihm took part in a pre-recorded conversation with CIFF Artistic Director Mallory Martin as part of CIFF’s Filmmaker Conversations presented by PNC.

The Q&A was made available to the public on CIFF’s YouTube Channel on April 8th and can also be accessed immediately after viewing the film on CIFF’s Streams.

CIFF will be the second festival stop for the In the Dark of the Valley, and will be one of seven films participating in the Global Health Competition - where the top prize of $5000 is awarded to the feature film that best explores health-related issues (both mental and physical) and films about the health of the environment.
